It’s the perfect option for pet parents who want their dogs to have safe social time under professional care – without the chaos of a traditional, high-volume daycare. We believe in quality, not quantity.

A Typical Day at Daycare
Each day at Mountainside Mutts includes:

Professional oversight to ensure safe, positive interactions
Our daycare is overseen by Alyssa Battles, an experienced petsitter and daycare professional who understands canine body language, play styles, and group dynamics. Under Alyssa’s guidance, every dog is supported in feeling comfortable, confident, and cared for.
We want daycare days to be easy and enjoyable — for both you and your dog!
🐾 Drop-Off (9:00–9:30 AM)
When you arrive, a team member will greet you and your dog at the door or parking area. We’ll guide your dog inside calmly to keep arrivals smooth and positive. Please keep your dog leashed until a staff member takes over.
We’ll do a quick check-in each morning to make sure your dog is feeling well and ready for play. Consistent routines help set a relaxed tone for the day ahead.
☀️ During the Day
Your dog will spend the day enjoying a mix of light play, enrichment, rest, and outdoor time — always under the watchful eye of our experienced staff. We monitor every interaction to ensure comfort and safety for all participants.
🌙 Pick-Up (4:30–5:00 PM)
By the end of the day, your dog will be content, relaxed, and ready to head home for dinner and a nap. We’ll share any relevant updates or cute highlights from their day so you know how things went.
Please be on time for pick-up — maintaining a consistent schedule helps all dogs settle into a healthy routine.
