Puppy Start Right is a unique puppy training and socialization class. The course is available for puppies 8 to 20 weeks of age, and Mountainside Mutts is the only dog training school in Vermont offering this program (puppies must be 16 weeks or under at the first session).

Puppy Start Right Preschool
The first weeks after you bring your new puppy home are life-changing. What does or doesn’t happen in this crucial period will determine the adult dog your puppy will become.
Our Puppy Start Right Preschool will expose your young dog to new experiences in a safe, fun, and positive way. Each session of this 4-week program includes play, foundational training, exploration, problem prevention discussion, and puppy parenting tips. The class is offered on a rolling-enrollment basis – every week at 5:30pm on Monday evenings (led by Als Allan). There’s no hanging around – get your puppy training as soon as you bring them home.
Proof of Distemper, Parvovirus, DHPP vaccinations, and a negative fecal will be required before attending your first session.
